Who We Are

Mission – The Autism Society of Cumberland County is committed to providing support and promotion opportunities which enhance the lives of individuals within the autism spectrum and their families.

The programs and activities of the organization are designed to inform and educate parents/caregivers and professionals, and provide referral, resource information, and opportunities for families. We help families find appropriate services through collaboration with numerous agencies within the county.

Through support groups and parent education programs the organization also provides families the opportunity by which to meet other families and professionals in the community, thereby affording them the ability to develop a network of support based on their individual needs. We offer conference scholarships for parents, 5-6 week summer day camp, classroom grants, Resource Directories, and a monthly newsletter.

Governed by a Board of Directors consisting of parents and professionals of individuals with autism, the Autism Society of Cumberland County, just as in its early years remains family-driven.
