Vera Bradley Bingo Night (April and October)
So much fun we have to play it twice a year! Each April and October, over 100 players join ASCC board and staff and volunteers to enjoy an evening of Bingo with a chance to win Vera Bradley swag like totes, handbags, wristlets, and wallets. Door prizes are given out, food is served, and fun is definitely on the menu! Watch for the next VB Bingo night on ASCC’s website and in The Echo. Volunteers are needed to help find sponsors and players for the event in advance and with set-up, concessions sales, and break-down the evening of the event.
Annual Autism Awareness Golf Tournament (June)
Each spring, members of the community come together to support the mission of the ASCC. Players enjoy a great day of golf and lunch. The support and generosity of the sponsors and players is truly the highlight of the day! Please consider helping with soliciting sponsors and prizes, recruiting players, and helping us to promote the event.
Fayetteville Lip Sync Battle
It’s ok if you can’t sing. This is a battle among Lip Syncers! Props are encouraged and make sure you bring your entourage. This Fall event brings ASCC and the community together for a night of musical merriment. Vote for your favorite participant,help get the word out and plan on attending!
Pig Pickin for Autism (May)
A fun family event to raise awareness and funds for the Autism Society of Cumberland County! Live music, lots of local vendors, huge raffles, and a whole lot of Pork!!! Hosted by the Cape Beard Follicles of Freedom, Fayetteville’s beard and mustache club.
Become a sponsor, get the word out, and volunteer at this Saturday event!
Greek Festival (September)
Support us in making this event a success. Volunteer for a 3-hour shift at the event.
Tootsie Roll Drive
Help give away tootsie rolls and accept donations at the Spring Lake Wal-Mart.
Autism Awareness Month (April)
Spread autism awareness and share news of our organization with others.
Camp Sunshine (Beginning the last week in June)
Assist camp staff during our five- week summer developmental day program held at a local elementary school. Contact us for the specific dates of camp.
